New technology determines free drinks during slot machine play
Are there any that don't do "drink tickets" and instead do free drinks just for showing your betting tickets?
I am staying at and its my understanding that the sportsbooks there Palazzo is more like a restaurant.
I plan on spending the entire first Saturday of college football season at a sports book just not sure where yet.
You can't just sit in a sportsbook and get cocktail service.
Now, I highly suggest spending some time at the at Palazzo.
Excellent food and the atmosphere can't be beat.
Get reservations now so that you are in the "stadium" section on a couch.

They usually have minimums, but will sometimes give you a ticket if you're under if you ask nicely.
This seems to be an ever changing situation so it is hard to keep up with it.
As far as I know almost all the SB have gone to the drink system, but I do remember seeing a recent TR that said the LVH SB former Hilton does not.
The amount it takes to get tickets is really up to the mood of the person taking your bet.
I just ask and then see what happens.
I will share some recent experiences that I have had.
He was betting horses and the waitress was giving all of us beers regardless if he had an active bet or not and she knew free drinks in vegas sports books and my friend were not betting.
The key here is it was a Weds in mid March so it was slow and he had been tipping her very well.
She wanted to keep us there as long as possible.
You will not be so lucky to find a dead SB on a College Football Saturday, but if you tip they or more likely take care of you.
I have found 2 ways around this.
I have slowed twenty bucks and got hammered.
I have never even had the bartender make sure I am playing max coins.
Again, tipping is a big key here.
Hope this helps, I will be there in a few days but do not think I will get any SB time in.
If I do I will let you know what I find.
Oh man I can't beleive I forgot this one.
If you go to PH, there is an ABC store in the Miracle Mile shops.
You can buy 16 - 20 oz.
There is not much seating here which is the biggest draw back but it is an option.
Ah, finally something I know about.
It has been my experience that they are ALL different and also depend go here what sport is on while you are there.
Sometimes for peak college or professional sports they will assign a minimum bet total before they will serve you a drop or issue drink tickets as stated in earlier posts.
And then other times as long as you have your betting tickets laying around and tip well they will keep coming back.
We have found that the LVH is the absolute most liberal with the alcohol and free drinks in vegas sports books even look or seem to care about how much you have bet.
The last time we were there they we had great cw service and had free drinks in vegas sports books great time betting on the ponies.
LVH also has alot of seating.
That has always been a problem for me is SO many sports books.
It's hard to two seats together much less your own table and chairs.
But you do need to get there early since it appears to be a favorite by the locals also!
Give it a try.
People watching is also great!
I've gotten free drinks in many sportsbooks in.
Esp during crowded times like college basketball, Go Tarheels.
Cocktail waitresses making the rounds see more like they do around the slots and tables.
My thoughts, they didn't care what you were betting, just glad to have lots of people ordering and tipping.
Perhaps they weren't free drinks in vegas sports books to do this, but I have gotten free drink service.
This has happened to me at the Venetian many times, and the.
Possibly others as well, but those I certainly remember.
Edited: 10:40 am, August 01, 2012 Just for the record I have no intention of just "sitting around" in the sportsbooks.
I fully intend on betting some baseball an football games.
I was just wondering about the best places to get better CW service.
Thanks for the replies!
Last year, during the football season, I brought my own soft cooler to with me.
Just flattened it out and packed it in my bag.
On the way to the hotel from the airport, I had the driver stop by the convenience store to get a case of beer and some water I was rocking a limo.
On Sunday morning, I used the hotel ice machine and filled up the cooler and go here over to the sports book and watched the games all day.
We bet a few grand and a ton on the horses and ended the day with a stack of a few dozen drink tickets that we ended up giving away.
I just prefer the convenience of a cooler to waiting on the drink girls to come around.
Includes places to see and things to pack!
